Session Zero: D&D x Streetwear

Hey everyone! It's been a while since my last post, so I wanted to share a little bit of what I've been working on this past month!

You may recall from a previous post that I was learning to experiment with the classic vaporware/80's aesthetic, and I was approached by a client to create something for his clothing brand! Designing t-shirts has to be my favorite design activities, and I dove right into coming up with some exciting designs for their brand.

The brand is called Session Zero clothing, and they sell various merch designs relating to the classic fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons. Believe it or not, I am a giant nerd but D&D is something very new to me so I was delighted to learn more about it. I've even starting playing with the client and my friends and honestly it's much more fun than I originally thought. Especially after the past few years we've all been through, it's nice to step outside of reality and let your imagination run wild. (And for those of you that may be curious, my character is a SilverBarbarian Dragonborn.)

Session Zero already had an established logo, and they were open to any of my ideas I had beyond just the "vaporware" style I was initially commissioned for. As you may know i've been trying to learn some new techniques in Photoshop & Illustrator and this was a great opportunity to try some out.

Attached here are some of the proofs I'll be sharing with the client, and I can't wait to see which make the final cut. I'll be sure to update with the final product once they're done.
